I expressed my concerns about buying "paper" because to be honest, when we did have some scrapes with our cars, our old insurance did not give us any issue. Mary Jo assured me that they don't sell "paper," their office is local and they are "old school"--meaning, if you need to come in and speak to a person, they are there. They are also easily accessible by email and even by text! I had to follow up on some matters after I signed and the response/ service was prompt. They encourage you to call them as a first line of defense. I just had a good feeling about this company. Meanwhile, I canceled with my old insurance--a big box company that starts with an "A" (20 years ago, I used to be able to talk directly to an agent from the office, but no more).Instead, I got a call center--a person who spoke minimal English, she didn't ask any questions, what can we do to keep you, nothing. The call center person just presses a button and you are canceled. You can just reach out to Mary Jo and the Langlois team and see what they can do for you--I did and no regrets.
