Langlois Insurance Agency Named Safeco Change Agents for Their Continued Community Support to Find A Cure for Cystic Fibrosis

Every year, the Langlois Insurance Agency chooses one charity for its popular “Referrals for a Good Cause” program. For every referred call that comes into their office, they make a donation to the designated charity. For 2018, the decision to select the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was a simple (and personal) one. The local “Eat. Pray. Dean.” initiative was created by the Burns family, in honor of their seven-year old son Dean who suffers from the disease. Insert photo on current page

Thanks to their continued commitment to community, Langlois Insurance Agency has been named a Safeco Change Agent, which means Safeco will donate $2,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on their behalf. The award will contribute to the charity’s goal of being able to support research that offers drugs to prolong the life of children with Cystic Fibrosis. Insert photo on current page

Annual Walk of Hope

Langlois Insurance Agency is once again a proud supporter of the Cancer Support Center's "Spring Walk of Hope.” The Cancer Support Center offers various programs for those affected by cancer at no charge to participants.

Honoring Legacies, Shaping Futures

For all of you that knew Mike McHugh, you know that he was passionate about the Manhattan Irish Fest. In honor of Mike, Langlois Insurance Agency is sponsoring the “Michael J. McHugh Memorial King & Queen Scholarship”. Mike was a lifelong Manhattan area resident and business owner who dedicated himself to the community. He was a founding member of the IASCW in 1981 and one of the original founding organizers of the Manhattan Irish Fest. Mike gave back to his community in many ways and loved to talk about his Irish Heritage. We were so proud to work with Mike when we merged McHugh Insurance Agency with Langlois Insurance Agency. He was a great agent, and an amazing guy.

Supporting St. Jude

Langlois Insurance Agency was so happy to once again support the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Bear-A-Thon. We were able to exceed our agency goal! So, THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers who participated by "liking" and "sharing" this information on social media. With your help, as well as the IIA of IL, we were able to raise enough money to give every patient at St. Jude Hospital a teddy bear.
